As a native of Monroe, LA, Dr. Tyler Thomas is a 1988 graduate of Neville High School. He continued his education and graduated from ULM with a Pre-Med degree. In 1997, he graduated with honors from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Tyler began a private practice, Thomas Veterinary Hospital, here in Monroe in 1998. He has also worked at Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo since 1999. In 2010, Dr. Thomas went to work in Lafayette, LA for a non-profit spay/neuter clinic. He worked there until March 2012. In his spare time Dr. Thomas enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
